Activity 3: Stranger than Fiction [10 points + 5 possible points]
I use to have a Venus flytrap at my house and it would catch the flies and I have seen the pitcher plant before at a
shop they look cool.

    Wow, those two are some very weird and interesting plants! I like the two you have selected from the list, good choice. Well done for following the instructions and posting the pictures to show us what the plants look like. They don't look like they were grown on this planet, right? You have presented your work neatly in a table and I think it's super helpful and easy to read so thank you for that.

    It's so cool how you used to have a Venus flytrap! I've always been interested in them and wanted one but never got the chance to. Did you know that when bugs land in the jaws of the Venus flytrap, it doesn't close up right away. There are actually little hairs inside that tell the plant to snap its jaw shut if the bug is brushing up against these hairs for at least 20 seconds. This is helpful so that the plant doesn't waste its energy and close if dust, feathers, or other non-living things land in it. Would you want to have a Venus flytrap again?
