Lorde is a singer-songwriter from New Zealand. Lorde was born in Takapuna and raised in Devonport which is just out of Auckland. In 2014 Lorde's first studio album Pure Heroine was at about number three on the US Billboard 200 charts and became one of the world's best-selling albums in 2014. Lorde has won 2 Grammys for Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for Royals in 2013. She has sold 17 million songs worldwide as of November 2014.
