  1. Hi Jess!

Those birds are so cute. They also look really friendly! I love the blue on Teal. Do they ever fight? Have a great holiday.

  2. HI Poppy, yes they do fight and when they do they are really loud. My favourite is Teal as well because Summer bites really hard and isn’t friendly but Teal comes and lands on my head sometimes.
    Have A good holiday

  3. Hello Jess,

First of all, I love that doing the Summer Learning Journey is on the list of things you life to do on a rainy day, that's fantastic to hear!! I do hope you're enjoying your time with us, I know that I'm definitely having fun reading through all your posts! :)

I know the feeling of having a friend live far away from you, it can feel a little sad at times but thankfully technology can allow us to text, call, or video chat them with the touch of a button! How far away has your friend moved from you? My best friend lives in South Africa while I live in New Zealand. There's an eleven hour time difference so our days are pretty much the opposite of each other! When it's morning here, it's night over there. I hope you get to see your friend soon!

Aww, I love budgies and I've always wanted one! Did you know, that you can tell if an adult budgie is a male or female by looking at their face? Budgies have a small bump called a cere above their beak. If the cere is blue, the budgie is male and if it is brown, the budgie is female. I love their names, it suits them really well! Can you tell what gender your budgies are? Do you keep them in separate cages or are they roommates together in one?

    Best,
    Evelyn

    1. Hi Evelyn thanks for commenting today wow my friend did not move that far away she just went to whataroa she came to my house for a week in the holidays we had lots of fun. The budgies stay in a cage together but we let them fly around the house almost every day. yes when we got them they told use that they were a girl and a boy and they told us that it was the colour of there nose that made them know. It still confuses me!
