The Sea Monster

The Sea Monster
Jess
13/5/19

The waterfall erupts from the spout, the ocean animals scatter. 50 years ago in
the centre of the Pacific Sea there lived the world's biggest whale named Ned,
but he was well known by all the sea creatures as The Sea Monster.!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone thought that he was so mean because he ate the plankton and almost
most drove them to extinction. He only ate them because he needed to feed on
something. He had no friends because everyone was to scared of him.

One day there was the biggest storm recorded it started with a 10.3 earthquake
and massive boulders from the bottom of the ocean started to tumble towards
Townsville where all the fish live. At that time Ned was trying to build a home
because everyone in Townsville was not letting him live there. He heard the
rumbling and he bolted through the weeds and realised that they were all in
danger and he said to himself “I am the biggest in the ocean so I need to stop the
boulders before someone gets hurt.”

Rylee the turtle bellows “Look here comes the Sea Monster, he’s coming to save
us yay.” As bolder rumbles down towards Townsville The Sea Monster swishes
closer and closer. And uses all his mighty strength to stop it. His tail digs into the
ground for about 5 metres till the underwater world comes to a standstill.

Every living sea creature in Townsville has their chin hanging and eyes
popping. They never thought that such a mean creature could do something to
risk his life for others. As the chatter started to grow you could hear them saying
maybe he isn’t that mean after all. Rylee says through a big speaker “everybody
gather around I have something to say. From this day forward I declare the chief
of the ocean to be The Sea Monster and he is to be my forever friend”. Everyone
started to cheer. The smile on Ned’s face went from ear to ear.

Now that Ned was the chief he had a pretty good life and he was most happy with
the decision that he made on that one very stormy day.

The end
