Week 1

DAY 5: AGAINST THE ODDS

Activity 1: National Treasure [4 points]
For this activity, we would like to learn more about the things that are
important to you.
On your blog, please share three things that you treasure and say why they
are treasures to you.
The 3 things I treasure are
  1. Family
  2. Animals
  3. Photos

I am thankful and treasure my family not just in my house but my other relatives. I
also treasure my friends. I have about 25 pets. My favourite is my dog Wal (short for
Wallace) and all my budgies. I also live on a farm with about 600 dairy cows. The
last thing I treasure is photos. Photos bring lots of memories. When I go through the
photo albums I remember those moments it brings me a smile and it makes me want
to go back to those times.

  1. Kia ora Jessica,

Thank you for sharing the three things that you treasure. I can really tell that these things you have shared are very important to you. It is nice to see that you have chosen family and animals and that you have also mentioned that you treasure your friends. Wow! You have 25 pets! That is a lot. What type of animals are your pets? I see you have mentioned your dog and budgies and cows, but do you have any other animals too? I love that you mentioned photos. They truly are an amazing treasure. I love going through my own photos too and it is always a warming experience and makes me happy too.

I just wanted to let you know that this will be my last post to you today as I will be on holiday for the next 2 weeks. I will be back commenting on the 6th of January and I am already looking forward to reading the amazing posts you share over the time I am away. I hope you have a wonderful holiday break.

  2. Hi,
    thanks for the comment.
well I have alot of pets some are:
Fish, chickens, cats, dogs, a rabbit, budgies, goats, sheep,a lamb and Axolotls which are a kind of walking fish. We usually have pigs but not at the moment and we had ducks but we let them go because they were big enough.

Its sad that you won't be commenting in the next two weeks but have a good holiday. Where are you going?
    thanks

    1. Hi Jess,

I am going home to Otorohanga to spend some time with my family. If you haven't heard of Otorohanga before, it is in the North Island of NZ and is the "kiwiana" capital of NZ.

I am going to miss seeing everyone posting over the next 2 weeks but I am so excited to see all your posts when I am back.
