I rate this picture a 3.
I kind of like this picture but kind of don't. I like it because it looks exactly like a car and person but I wouldn't put that on my wall as I don't really like what the picture is of.

ReplyDeleteWell done on giving Tamara de Lempicka's painting a rating out of 5. I personally think that "3" is a really good rating.
I give the painting a 5/5, but that's my preference! I like it because of the sharp edges and bold colours.
I do believe that the background is her coat, yes. Did you know that Napier is known as the Art Deco capital of New Zealand? This is because in 1931, after they had a devastatingly huge earthquake, they had to rebuild. Meanwhile, all of the Architects graduating from University had been studying the Art Deco movement, so that's what they ended up specializing in. They all went to work on redesigning and rebuilding in Napier.
