SLJ W3 D3 A3

Week 3
Day 3
Activity 3: Wind Beneath My Wings [10 points]

Today have make a DLO about an animal that can fly.

I was amazed at how long they can stay in the air for I thought only about 10 second
but I was wrong. I have made this on a Google drawing then I screenshotted it here.

  2. Hey Jess,

What a great choice of a flying animal you have made, flying fish sure are fascinating creatures! I love the way you have set out your work, the colours of the font stands out and it is easy to read. I also like how you have given credit for the images you have used in your digital learning object (DLO), excellent work Jess!

Yes, you're absolutely right, these flying fish are found in the top 200 metre layer of the ocean, also known as the "sunlight zone". Maybe you could catch sight of one if you're ever on a boat out in the ocean! They can even spend quite a bit of time out of water for a fish. Do you think you could hold your breath for 45-50 seconds? I think if I practised for a wee bit, I could actually make it.

    Keep it up,
    Evelyn :)
