Week 2
Day 2
Activity 2: School Strike for Climate [4 points]
For this activity, we would like you to explore the School Strike for Climate
Australia website.
On your blog, list three facts (things) that you learned, and include a
photograph of something that you are doing around home to help the
environment.

  1. They are students from all different schools in Australia that
have never met in person.
2. They go every Friday during school hours and protest.
3.Climate change is one of the biggest problems the world is
facing and there is not enough is being done about it.

I use reusable bags to help the environment:

  1. Hello Jess,

    Leisha here again! :)

I am glad you have learned some facts about climate change and what the School Strike 4 Climate is all about. Do you agree that it is important for us all to do our bit to care for the environment? It is great to see you are using reusable bags! I have a few of those too. I think it is such a great idea. I even have a little bag that folds up and clips onto my handbag, so wherever I go, I always have a reusable bag when I need it.

Can you think of some other ways we can care for the environment? I think recycling is an important way that we could all do more to care for our environment. We are very careful to recycle anything we can in our house.

    Another fantastic post Jess.

    1. Hi thanks.
I do agree that everyone needs to do there bit to help. I like how you have a bag on your handbag. that is a good idea. I think that people need to think about pollution and do something about it.
      thanks

    2. Hi Jess,

Yes I agree. Do you think that most people know about pollution, but choose to ignore it? Or do you think people need to be educated about it so they can make better choices and be a lot kinder to our environment?
