If I could go back in time and give a family treats they would be....
Waffles - because I love them and they probably couldn't make them then.
Pineapple Lumps - because they are leaving New Zealand and soon be gone.
Clothes - they probably don't have many back then.
Monopoly - because this is a very fun board game.
Books - because they are very interesting to read.

I really liked that your choices are well balanced, you mentioned things to eat, to wear, to read, and to play.
Just to clarify, the people mentioned in the task are not from different countries but people that lived in New Zealand in the mid-1930s.
Furthermore, when you mentioned book or clothes these are not specific enough. For example, if I would send some clothes back to the families in the 1930's it would be Icebreaker clothes because they keep us warm in winter and cool on summer.
In order for your to gain full points for this activity could you be more specific in your list? Also, when making a list consider to add bullet points as a way to make your written more organised.
